When to start our family

Question

I have been with my husband for 4 years now And we got married in October. I was wondering for those who had children how did you guys go about talking about whether it was a good time to start trying or  not. when the conversation comes up we’re both on different pages about it.

I got pregnant two months into my relationship but we were also having unprotected sex and talked about it beforehand.  We agreed that it would be okay if I got pregnant.
This time around I just told him I wanted another baby while we were hanging out, and we agreed to wait until our baby was older (it didn’t happen lol but that’s what we talked about).
I mean I don’t feel it’s a difficult conversation.  I’ve talked to my fiancé a couple times about how many kids we want because he wants less than I do so I want to stay on the same page about it.
I’d be kinda surprised if you got married without talking about kids

Me and my husband were on different pages too.  I wanted to wait longer but he’s been wanting one since we got engaged(Feb.2014) . Marriage takes sacrifice so after being married 2 years I decided we could start trying(2018). Even though I really wanted to wait another 2-3 years. I’m now due any day and I can’t imagine waiting longer to meet my baby boy 💙. My husband is obviously over the moon never seen him so happy 😁. He wanted a baby bad 🤣

The first one was my husband’s idea. We both were for it. So went for it it. The second one we are currently TTC was my idea. I wanted to try awhile ago but I kept getting vibes he wasn’t ready, we discussed it. He had valid reasons, so I gave him time. This summer I asked how he felt about trying and he finally warmed up to the idea and told me he was ready for a second. I think it just requires patience and I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in wanting a baby that sometimes we overlook genuine concerns and need to be brought back down to earth. It’s not always about what we want, we need to include our man’s feelings too. (In my situation and opinion)

My husband and I talked about having kids and our parameters around having them and what happens if we can’t have kids before we got married..... we had discussed financially and factored in health insurance when we would be ready for kids.
