Guy friend gave fertility advice

So, I very recently became friends with a guy and he was telling me about health supplements that help with male health but can also help with female fertility. He told me I should try it (although I don’t need it at this time in my life, as I’m single), which I thought was informative of him, but then I thought to myself...”do guys give fertility advice to their female friends?”

What do you think this means? Like, is it normal for a guy you’re *not* dating to give fertility advice so freely?
