My fiancé talks to our little one pretty frequently but, I haven’t bonded with my baby at all yet. I rub my tummy often, that’s about it. 
Any ideas for bonding? I’m more of the “I feel weird talking to my stomach” person😂

I’m having a hard time bonding too. I don’t know the gender yet so it makes it kind of difficult to picture what my sweet little one will be. I took a bath tonight and tried what I saw my mom do with my little sister. She called out names and when my sister heard her name she kicked really hard. We say she choose her name lol. I tried calling out both the boy and girl names and didn’t feel anything. I’m only 16+4 with first so I know it’s still too early for me to really feel anything or even know what I’m feeling.
I love your Disney idea! We’re doing a retro Disney nursery! Disney is my jam! I might steal your idea about the music! 🎶

I have started reading a few books/nursery rhymes, singing songs from a special playlist I put together, rubbing my belly all day (it’s oddly satisfying or calming or something!!) .. sometimes I feel weird talking to my belly out loud so I do it in my head. I’ve also written notes/journaled so far for the baby and we are currently practicing out her name to see how it fits. Once I found out the gender I feel so much more connected or able to connect!

I’m the same ^ i dont know the gender yet so it’s a little hard for me to bond mentally and picture our baby. Although when he/she kicks and moves about i rub my tummy and say hello. Since Christmas my husband and I have been reading through Sherlock Holmes almost every night which is really nice 💕
