Herpes :(

I fucked up! I get cold sores on my mouth ONLY. I usually get a warning sign and will feel and/or see it when its forming. I’ve started dating someone new and we were making out, I went down on him and we had sex too the other night all with no condom..then I went to wash my makeup off in preparation for bed - to my absolute horror, a red lump forming on my fucking lip 😭😭😭😭😭 I was mortified and wanted to be sick. I told him and he was surprisingly fine with it and said well shit happens. We obviously stopped that behaviour from then on while this fucking cold sore goes away 😩 its annoying because I’m alway SO CAREFUL all the time! But I simply did not feel it coming on or anything or even feel anything on my lip. Until I saw it on my face.

My question is, is it likely he and I will get an our break on our genitals straight away? Does anyone have genital herpes and can tell me what to do/how to live with it. Ive had cold sores on my mouth my whole life..I know they come and go etc and sometimes not even come for years!

I also understand that even without an active outbreak you can still be contagious. Can anyone ease my pain? 😂
