Changing baby name?

Me and my husband decided on a first name and we told everyone what that name would be. He just texted me and said he wants to name our son after him so he would be a junior and then call him as a nickname the original name we chose. It makes me upset because I chose the name. Also my husband doesn’t have a middle name. I want my child to have a middle name. Also my husband picked out our daughters name and I just agreed. It makes me upset. Would be be upset or tell everyone that we changed the name ???? I seriously told everyone. All my family. I asked my husband multiple times if he was sure this is the name he wanted and he agreed.
