My boyfriend never gets me flowers?

Question

So we’ve been dating 6 years and have a 17mo son. I tell him how nice it would be if he got me some flowers every once in a while (I love flowers). But he never does? Also, his dad owns a flower company so he can get them for free. I don’t understand! Anybody else’s spouse the same?

My husband and I have been together for 11 years, married almost 6. I've gotten flowers twice.... 1st was our 1st date, he brought carnations as a joke ( I hate carnations and he knew that) , he had back up roses.   On our 10 year 1st date day I bought him 10 carnations and delivered them to his job site- construction w my stepdad- just because I thought it was funny.  Then he comes home with $50 worth of roses 😳. I wasn't very happy because we have 3 kids and live check to check! $5 for carnations is way different than $50 on roses (and I'm not the biggest fan of those either).
