Do your pregnancy symptoms take longer to appear

If you have longer cycles? Going based off my last period I’m 4 weeks 3 days but I have 34 day cycles so technically I barley ovulated 11 days ago. I’m wondering if this also would make my due late later than say someone who had their last period the same as me but shorter cycle?

It depends on how well your body responds to the hCG honestly. I have 21 day cycles and am almost 9 weeks pregnant with my second baby. With my first pregnancy I had absolutely no symptoms other than slight fatigue in between weeks 7-8 and my missed periods. My current pregnancy is going very much the same way so far.

If you have a longer cycle, you ovulate later in the cycle. So you would technically not be as far along as someone else who has a 28 day cycle and has the same first day of last period as you, though you wouldn’t be that far off. You technically go by day of last period to calculate how far along you are until the doctor does a dating scan to give you a correct due date. I will say, for both of my pregnancies I had long cycles and my due date didn’t change from day of last period even after ultrasound.
