Church and a newborn

How did you handle church and a newborn? Did you wait several weeks/months before attending services again? Did you attend but leave baby with someone at home? Did you go back right away and take baby with you?

My daughter and I currently attend church every week. My husband does not. We are due with our 2nd child in June and I've been worried about how I'm supposed to handle a new baby and church. My husband has already said he doesnt mind watching the baby while my daughter and I go, but I feel like baby should be joining us. Our church (like most) has a nursery so the baby wouldn't be in the sanctuary with me. How old was your baby when you started taking them? I know it's personal preference but I'm looking for advice and reasons to wait/not wait to bring the baby with me.
