Should i take my child to the doctor?
So, my daughter has had 4 blowouts in 4 days, one happened at nap time, the other 3 happened over night. The first 2 were diarrhea but 3rd one was a bit less runny and the 4th one was the usual consistency as her normal bowel movements..but we also changed diaper brands. I normally use Kirkland brand or pampers when I can't get to Costco.. but this time I decided to try Huggies cruisers.. so I'm thinking that might be why she's getting blowouts? Anyways, she has a pretty runny nose, and a slight cough, they are wet.. I'd assume from the mucus, sliding down her throat because she really only coughs when she sucks the snot up or laying down for her nap/to sleep.. and it's not a constant cough just random ones. She's eating (she eats solids) but not as much as she normally does. She's definitely drinking plenty of fluids though. I told my mom like it's just a cold stop freaking out... Shes fine.. but because she keeps freaking out (we live in different states, but i talk to her daily).. now Im starting to doubt myself and wondering if I'm wrong? She doesn't have a fever, she is more whiny than usual.. but once she gets down for her nap or to sleep she's fine and wakes up in a better mood.. that progressively becomes irritable, but I can still console her when she's crying.. but she just gets mad when I try to give her baby cold medicine in the syringe or when I try to use the bulb sucker to suck the snot out of her nose. (Understandable, I get it, I wouldnt like that either) also I can see that she has 2 canine teeth coming in up top, though it seems a bit early for that because she's under a year old. I just don't know now if I should be worried more, or if my mom's just making me feel like I should worry more. I guess the best case I take her in and nothing is wrong, just a minor cold, right?
