Is the 4d scan worth it?

I have an anterior high placenta and I had mine done at 28 weeks and they were amazing! The baby was down low so we could see him perfectly. Normally they will let you come back a second time for free if they were unable to see the baby first time (although check when you book) and i couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Absolutely!! I had one at 16 weeks and it was brilliant !! Having another in a few weeks ( 23 weeks ) well worth it .

28/29 weeks (had to go back for better view) stubborn girl! She had her eyes open, sucking her thumb, playing with the umbilical cord, coughing, yawning!! Was amazing to see!!!

It really all depends on where your placenta is. When I was pregnant with my son I had a anterior high placenta. Because he was my first I paid loads for a 4d scan and they couldn't get any good 3d pictures let alone 4d stuff as he was tucked right behind my placenta. 
I'm now pregnant with my little girl and her placenta is a posterior so in my back and when I went for a gender scan I mentioned it to them and they said they would get some wonderful pictures and movement pictures as baby will be all at the front nothing to hide behind.

I’m not getting one only because I’m having regular scans at hospital due to fibroids. If I didn’t have them, then I would definitely have got one (if not more). 
There are some great deals on groupon - though can’t tell you anything about the companies that run them.
