Baby dropped in weight percentile ...

LO was 6 14 at birth, and always tracked on 15-20 percentile weight. He was median in weight to height ratio until his two month appointment. Today We went to his pediatrician because of a persistent diaper rash, and they weighted him at 3 months, and he is now 7th percentile in weight!

I didn’t realize this when I was at the office and doctor didn’t mention it. He told me the rash might be because of his diarrhea, and asked me to stop dairy, but no mention of his weight.

I breast feed and pump, no formula. He takes between 30 and 35oz a day, but poops a lot, thinking he might not be absorbing all the nutrients?!?

I’m going to email the doctor, but did anyone else have this kind of problem? I’m very upset about this 😞
