33mm follicle... super follicle?

Today was my consultation with California IVF. The Dr of course gave us a huge chat about ivf and the benefits even though my paperwork said i was interested in iui. Also my paperwork and family has unexplained infertility, but no diagnosis of endometriosis. The dr says he would like to do an U/S. Ok i have gone many of these lets do it. Well he first finds a 33mm follicle and then finds a 26mm follicle. One of each ovary. He kind of mumbles so stuff about the 33mm follicle and then starts talking about the starting of endometriosis and how ivf may be the only viable option for me.

For one i am right around ovulation time and i took letrozole this month. From what i have read letrozole has been known to develop larger follicles than clomid would. Has anyone experienced this size of follicle?

To you, does it seem like the dr was just trying to make a diagnosis in hopes we would go ivf? I read mild endometriosis typically does not cause infertility and that many women go on to have successful pregnancies.

I will not do ivf. I would rather adopt (which costs as much as ivf) and then have a tax adoption credit at the end of the year to pay off most, if not all of the cost of adoption.

Am i being delusional? Does this clinic seem sketchy or an i just being hyper sensitive?
