Anyone know anything about law?

If so what does this mean? My dog was attacked and the apartment complex isn’t doing anything about it and I’ve been having to keep pushing and plan on going back to talk to them again but wanted to make sure the law was on my side before attempting to take legal action.

Plus these are the injuries my dog went through

Not sure but I sincerely hope that other dog was reported to animal control so it’s on record that they’ve had at least one aggressive incident. So if they do it again they are put down. I’d also expect the other dog owner to pay for my dogs medical bills. That was a vicious attack and your dog is lucky to have made it through that. I hope your dog is okay. I’m not sure what the landlord could do but I really hope that other dog owner is doing something about their aggressive dog.

While I’m not sure about the law my dog was also attacked. I have a small Yorkie Pooh she was attacked by a Red nose Pitt the owner paid all her vet bills, her stay at hospital, and covered her prescription.

Looks like the landlord is only responsible if they are made known to a threat to tenant safety and they refuse to do anything, like evicting a violent dog. 
If the landlord didnt know, there is no liability on the landlord. 
I dont see why you'd go after the labdlord at all, unless your dog was attacked by the landlords dog.

At this point, it’s not the landlords problem. All the landlord can do is whatever is stated in the lease agreements and whatever your states landlord tenant laws are. It differs per state. For example, my lease agreement and state laws say that if an animal isn’t restrained on a leash, you can be fined and animal control could be called on you. That’s about the extent of it. 
At this point, the landlord can fine them if that’s in your lease agreement. But your problem is now with the animals owner. If I were you, I’d sue the owner of the dog for vet bills. Most places do require dogs to be on leashes in the common areas of the complex. If you find that stated in your lease agreement, that’s really all you need to press charges.

No legal advice, but as a dog trainer PLEASE get into a reputable training class or private lessons with a trainer after your dog is healed. An attack like this can cause major anxiety issues and even dog aggression. She needs to work through it like people do after a traumatic event.

I would report the owner not the apartments. Was the other dog on a leash? How did it get to your dog? Was your dog on a leash? It’s more of the other dogs owners responsibility.

I am reading this as a dog on human attack. You should persue legal action against the offending dog's owner. Also, be sure to contact animal control if you have not already. They will likely quarentine the animal for observation. Also, depending on the injuries it may end up in court anyway. A judge can deem the dog dangerous and the owners will be given certian criteria to adhere by in order to prevent future attacks. 
If your apartment complex has a sign for leash laws and curbing your pets, that would probably relinquish them of any liability in the common areas.
