Joined bak account?

My boyfriend of only a few weeks wants to start a joined bank account soon and im the main income... he can only work so many hours a week and is on disability so he gets money from that but he spends a lot of it on video games and I spend my money on gas for his car and groceries and my bills... idk if im comfortable with that i feel like it will be 20 /60 on how much money is gonna be in there. Should i do it or no? I will talk to him more about my fears but i dont want him to get upset.
