All the feels ❤️❤️❤️ hubby for the win

Long story but it warrants a bit of background...

the past few months have been very stressful for my husband and I.

His dad is dying from cancer and on top of that, my husband became ill with symptoms of RA/Fibro/??? 5 months ago. His autoimmune markers are off the charts.

Anyway lately I’ve been feeling down. I’ve been carrying us financially since he’s been sick (we are both self employed) and doing everything around the house and yard, not to mention being his caretaker on top of it all. He does what he can to help, but he’s not been himself lately and nearly everything has fallen on me to take care of.

Anyway...lately I’ve been exhausted and feeling low. And to top it off, I’ve not been sleeping due to low back/hip/thigh pain when I sleep and stress.

So today I get home after a long work day...and a grocery run and I’m already planning what I need to clean and cook for dinner as I’m walking in the door...

I pause...

the entire house is spotless! The Xmas tree has been taken down, floors are vacuumed, dogs are clean, home office is spotless and reorganized!

Oh Bless this man because he knows the way to my heart ♥️ lol!

What’s more...on the couch is an amazon box. I ask him what it was and he said to open it. You guys...he bought me a super nice between-leg pillow for sleeping to help with my leg and back pain! ❤️ he gave me a kiss and said that he loves and appreciates me and all I’ve been taking care of for us.

I know how absolutely hard and exhausting all of the cleaning was for him today and his gift melted away all of my exhaustion and lifted my heart ❤️

Sorry for the long story...but it was necessary because what seems like a small gesture wasn’t small by any means!

And just because I know there are judgey people on this app...he’s normally the one that keeps most of the housework up because he works from home and I have an office away from home. So he’s not lazy, he’s just been ill and coping with his dad on top of it all.
