Irregular Periods

Okay so I am on the Nexplanon birth control implant and I have been for 8 months. Does anyone else have very irregular periods on this? I just got off my period 6 days ago and I started again yesterday. Will it get better after i’ve been on the implant longer or do my periods stay this irregular through the whole 3 years? I have my one year checkup for it in May and i’ll be bringing this up, I just wanted to see if anyone else has the same issues.
