Baby sprinkle

So my mom and a couple of her friends are planning my baby sprinkle for our rainbow baby. But she is trying to let my mother In law, mamaw, and husband's grandma have 6 people each they get to invite. I spoke against this. I don't want people I've never met or distant family that we don't care for there. I feel like 6 each is to much. Instead let me choose the people? They don't want me planning any of it since for me but I dislike idea of them getting to invite who they want.
