Can the Pain from appendicitis come and go?

I’ve been getting shape stabbing pain in my right side off and on for the past few days. Last night I woke up with it hurting so bad. 
I’m also 30 weeks pregnant so idk if maybe the pain is from that... 
I brought it up to my dr on Wednesday and she completely ignored me and didn’t even try to figure out why. 
I’m in pain right now too and I just feel like going to the ER right now. 😭😭

No, while appendicitis is a colicky type pain, it doesn’t come and go, it will progress and be constant .

If its appendicitis and it stops hurting, that's a bad sign. It sounds like a kidney stone or ligament pain. Not to down play it but when I had my appendix removed I puked for days and went to the er 3 times. It was worse than child birth and I've had 3.

I would go to the doctor or ER.  I’m 21 weeks pregnant and last week was having horrible pain on my right side, radiating to my back.  My first fear was something wrong with baby, I went to the ER and was actually admitted to the l&d ward per hospital policy.  Once we determined baby was alright the next thought was infection, appendix or kidney related.  Turns out for me it was a kidney stone.  No fun but nothing serious.  Appendicitis is serious.  I say better safe than sorry.  My pain was about a 7-8 on the scale of 0-10. Hope you feel better soon!
