Yeast Infection and Medication

So, I have had a yeast infection that wasn’t able to be cured by fluconazole, which was tried many times.. I have been prescribed boric acid for 6 weeks to try to “reset” my body.. But, my partner and I have been having sex for a while now while i’ve had a yeast infection because I couldn’t tell if it was going away or not after many doses of fluconazole. (Some days it seemed like it was gone, whereas other days there were symptoms).. Now, what I’m wondering is if my partner should be going to the doctor to likely treat a yeast infection, or if he should be fine??
