What would you ladies do

If your fiancé felt like he didn’t need to tell you when he was coming home. He was supposed to come home yesterday from a work trip but didn’t. I called him at 11:00pm he answered and said in a sleepy voice “oh I decided not to.” I was a little frustrated because had I not called him he would have never called me to let me know he wasnt going to make it. Now today I asked him what time he was coming home and he said he didn’t know. I said well when you find out can you call me and let me know. He says “why do I have to tell you when I’m coming home.” Now in my mind...engagement is about open communication and being able to trust each other. I can’t even trust that he’s going to be home when he says, and his communication is crap.

In the past he’s felt like I was “babysitting” and “stalking” his every move but it’s literally been NORMAL questions that you would ask if you were engaged, living together, and pregnant🤷🏾‍♀️ soooo my question is am I asking too much? Am I expecting too much? What do you guys think?
