Bad News

My bf is a marine and he just informed me that he’ll be away in MOS school until May-Jun. That just really crushed my heart. He’s been gone since January. We’ve been together for 5 years he’s 24 and I’m 26. We’ve never been away that long from one another. I know I shouldn’t be complaining because other ppl don’t get to see their SO for longer periods than that in the military but this is all new to me. I wasn’t expecting him to be gone that long since he’s a reservist. It is what I signed up for but I didn’t know it’ll be this hard 😢.
