BLW??????

Question

Any mommas out there ever done baby led weaning? My baby girl is almost 5 months and her dr gave us the go ahead for baby food since she’s grabbing our food all of the time? 
Oh and I don’t want opinions on how it’s bad to feed them early and how it causes allergies. Our dr said it’s better to expose them to food early so they don’t develop allergies later.

If you’re wanting to do BLW, you would need to wait until 6 months because it’s part of the rules. If you want to start food before 6 months you would do purées and traditional weaning.

I started about 5 1/2 months with mine, they don’t really eat anything at that age anyway it’s more about exploring tastes and textures. 
Obviously don’t leave them alone with food! We just sat baby in the high chair when we were eating and gave him bits of food he could pick up and hold/taste/suck/chew x
