Period or pregnant?

I was just wondering if there is a way to differentiate between the two? How do you know if the cramps are due to approaching period or if its pregnancy? Plz share your experiences.

You can’t differentiate. You don’t know what’s the cause until you either get your period or a positive test.

I had period like cramps a week or two before my missed period didn't think anything was out of ordinary until I never got my period

You can’t really differentiate honestly. It depends how long your cycles are.
In my case a hint of pregnancy is that I get cramping when I implant, had it with both pregnancies on 9dpo. For me that’s 4 days before my period is due... I USUALLY only cramp the day before my period is due to start, so mid-cycle cramping is (for me) an indication that something might be happening.
