College relationship confused

Since the semester I’ve notice myself liking this guy more and we flirt and text a lot and everything is nice he’s really a gentleman.

Whenever we hang out in his room he never tries anything sexual with me and we just talk and laugh. He recently asked me to send him a picture of myself but not a sexual picture just a regular everyday picture and has asked me if I was looking for relationship or just something short term. Is this his way of telling me that he’s interested ?and wants something serious? and if so how do I go about this ?
