LH surge before period

I have read that women experience an LH surge before their periods- my period is due tomorrow and so far no LH surge. Is this a good sign?? I took a hot yesterday at 11dpo and it was a bfn. I’m trying to hold out before taking anymore tests.

Well you’ll also get a positive opk if you’re pregnant bc it picks up the hCG as LH, so it’s not a great idea to use them as pregnancy predictors. The LH surge you get before your period can happen any where from 0-4 days before your period.
