For those TTC, do you and your husband have any moral issues with testing that is recommended for fertility purposes?

I’ve been through so many tests, I really hate them. I’m beginning to question if this is even an acceptable practice, especially transvaginal sonograms. Popularity does not always equal correct.
Everything shows up fine. But we have been TTC for 7 years. We were setup to do testing for my husband, but we didn’t follow through. The process makes us both very uncomfortable. 
Are we alone in questioning the moral dilemmas that modern medicine may be ignoring? Does anyone else have a problem with these tests?

Ok, I would like to clarify this. I’m looking for people who are like-minded and understand my point of view. A lot of times, my perspective is not one of popular opinion and I’m ok with that. I think it’s great to have these discussions, I encourage everyone to voice and support their individual beliefs, but please understand my values are not easily shifted. I’m not here to argue or offend. 
I will start with some background that led me to this consideration. My husband and I have both had a history of masturbation and pornography. It’s hard to get out of, but we believe those actions to be contrary to God’s will for our life and have been delivered from them. We avoid things that would lead us back into that behavior, including what we watch and read. 
We believe our marriage should only be between us. We don’t discuss details of sex with other people. I am very careful to keep information I share with doctors relevant to the issue. I believe that there are tactful ways to say things and vulgar ways to say things, it makes a big difference in the connections you form with people. For example, the implications of the words vagina and pussy are totally different even though the subject is the same.
We also have strong beliefs about fertility treatments that we feel go beyond God’s design, such as IVF or surrogacy. This site can help explain some of that.

Basically, if a given medical intervention helps or assists the marriage act (sex between one man and one woman) to achieve pregnancy, it may be considered moral; if the intervention replaces the marriage act in order to develop life, it is not moral.
Case in point, Lot’s daughters. In desperation to have children, they got their father drunk, had sex with him, and gave birth to his children. Is that morally acceptable? If you believe that it is not, it is reasonable to ask questions about what measures are moral or ethical in the pursuit of children.
I find myself considering the moral and spiritual implications of not only fertility treatments, but the tests also, based on these and other personal experiences and beliefs. I wanted to know if other Christians share this point of view or thought process. 
For those who disagree with any of these points, this is not an attack on your beliefs or a judgment about you in anyway. I could be wrong, I don’t know everything about God, I’m just doing my best to live according to my understanding of the Bible in this modern age.

They're for medical purposes, like the transvaginal ultrasound. If the moral issue is someone sticking that in your vag, then how the heck will you ever go through pregnancy and labor and delivery? I mean, especially labor. The nurses came in a lot checking to see how dilated I am. And you can't forget the delivery when the doctor has his/her hands down there and the nurses staring too. I'm not sure if that's what you find morally wrong, I've never had to do fertility tests, but it's all basic and normal. When my husband had to bank sperm (for unrelated reasons) he talked to one of our pastors about it and he said there's nothing sinful about masturbating to get the sperm checked (masturbating itself is a whole other issue) but things like that are OK and for medical purposes. Nothing sexual. But I think some more details would be nice, because like I said, I have never had to do fertility tests, so I don't know what they are for a woman.

Can you be more specific? What moral issues are you guys having with these tests? For the specific you mentioned of transvaginal ultrasounds I don’t understand how there could be a moral issue with it, could you explain a bit more?
