Anything natural to induce labour naturally that actually works ??

I am thinking to start natural induction tricks at around 38/39 weeks.

I’ve literally tried every single trick in the book and nothing helps. Still only 1cm dilated and almost 39 weeks. The baby is only coming when they are ready. 😒

Ive tried EVERYTHING besides castor oil. Ive ate pineapples, drank 100% pineapple juice, ate spicy foods, had sex, nipple stimulation, walked, bounced, cleaned like crazy, squats, baby momma dance multiple times, warm baths, im due friday and my son is just not ready. Hes being stubborn like his daddy.

Google ‘evidence based birth castor oil’ and read the science. No increase in csections, meconium stained fluid or reduced Apgar scores was found in women who induced with castor oil but it is ONLY to be used once you reach 40 weeks. Before 40 weeks it may not work and just cause diarrhoea but I do think from 40 weeks onwards, castor oil used properly can be a safe means of inducing labour. Make sure to do your own reading to make an informed decision. Other methods of natural labour induction like sex, bouncing on a ball etc have not been proven to work. Labour induction acupuncture is an effective option though on the pricy side.

Walks, sex (semen brings on labour) and if you try to massage for collostrum. However do not do this unless your dr says it’s safe to bring on labour of course! But these are what my dr/nurses at hospital told me. I’m 38 + 3 😊
