Which spelling do you prefer?
We like the name as we are huge fans of the Lebanese poet/philosopher, Khalil/Kahlil Gibran.
Khalil is the traditional way of spelling the name; however, when he moved to the US the spelling was inadvertently changed to Kahlil and the majority of original English-published books have the spelling Kahlil.
We are leaning toward Kahlil because it has a bit of a "softer" look to it in our opinion, but we wanted to know others opinions.
The name means "friend".
