Induction??? And C-Sections

Did most of your inductions turn into c-sections? I’m hearing if I’m induced there’s a higher chance of needing a c-section.

With my first I had an induction and it was fantastic. He was vaginal. 
With my second I was induced and her cord ended up prolapsing and causing an emergency c section.

I was induced due to my water leaking for 24 hours and I had her vaginally. I think the chance of c-section is a bit higher but it’s definitely not substantial!

That used to be the theory but new research has shown that there is no statistically significant difference between the rates of c sections between those who are induced and those who aren't.

Mine did but it had nothing to do with the induction. Once things started kicking off with the induction they realized that my son was stuck and my water had broke at some point and we had no idea when. The doctor also had reason to believe he had pooped. So the induction had nothing to do with it but it did save his life!! If I had waited to go into labor on my own he wouldn’t be here.
