When do you start temp?

New to bbt just wondering do some people start temping the day after ending their periods or is it okay to start a couple of days after? What is more accurate? Does it make a difference? Thanks in advance!

I would do it after your period ends so you have a better overall pattern of your temps. If you do it too late it will be hard to see your pattern.

I just start cd1 and never take a day off. However, if you know you ovulate around cd14, you could wait until your period is over to start temping. But the only reason to do that is if you temp vaginally.

I started mine after my period ended but I also heard its good to start from cd1 😊 if I am not lucky this cycle next time we try again I am going to try from cd1

From what I’ve read it’s best to start day 1 of your cycle which would be the first day of your period. It makes it easier to see an overall pattern.
