When did you start letting your baby watch tv

My son is 14 weeks old and if I have the tv on and he can see it he’ll just stare at it. I try not to let him do it.I was just curious when people actually let them watch

My daughter is 19 months old and I still don’t let her watch tv. They shouldn’t have screen time before a year and a half, and preferably a very limited amount after that age. 
I try not to have the tv on around our kids. We watch movies when our eldest goes to bed and we sit with our 5 week old on my legs facing away from the screen, just as we did with our daughter until she started being put down for bed in her own room on her own.

Whenever. Our tv is almost always on. Our 2 and 3 year old occasionally watch it but even though it’s always on they mostly play with their toys. It doesn’t hurt them.

My room shared with my son until 11 months, and at night my husband and I watched our shows as usual so he definitely saw tv then. Around 8 months I think I began putting on Baby First TV on Hulu from time to time.

My girl is a few weeks older than yours. We have the tv on in my house a lot but I dont let her watch it. If we are playing or sitting I have her facing away from it because otherwise she will just stare at it lol. Once in a while for a minute or two I've let her watch (like if she is really fussy and I'm getting frustrated because it usually distracts her) but that's it.

Research shows tv is harmful to two years and under. We don’t have the tv on anymore when baby is in the room except for a YouTube workout video now and then.

I think when he was 18 months he fell in love with doc mcstuffins. At first he just loved the songs but now he actually laughs at the funny parts and is invested in the story lines

Mine is one and still doesn’t care unless it’s Lindsey Sterling on YouTube. She don’t even watch the Sprout or Baby First Channels. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s so weird.
