So we came to the hospital yesterday cuz baby wasn’t moving. When they were monitoring me I started having regular contractions and was 3cm dialated and 50% effaced. So they kept me over night and gave me meds to stop contractions and the steroid for babies lungs. Had contractions till about lunch time today and nurse is pretty sure I lost my mucus plug today but contractions have stopped. I’m only 34 weeks and baby is Breech, has anyone had anything like this and/or still lasted a few more weeks? Any suggestions on how to get baby to flip? Hopefully she will stay and cook a little longer🤞🏻🙏🏻

Somewhat similar situation. I’ve been having contractions on and off nothing too intense, but enough to bother me. I went in on Thursday due to extreme cervical pressure, low backache and menstral like cramping. They checked my cervix and said I was a loose one and 50% effaced. And chalked everything up to the fact that it’s my 4th baby and sent me home. Honestly I was pissed. I’m still having issues and lost a huge chunk of my mucus plug Saturday so pretty positive I’m dilating more, I’ve also had the issue of walking and having to stop in my tracks because it feels like I’m being stabbed with needles in my cervix and won’t stop unless I stop moving, they tried to tell me it’s lightning crotch, but I have never experienced anything like it. Im also getting bad Heart palpitations with my contractions/Braxton Hicks but I don’t want to go back in cause I don’t want to get blown off again, but I plan on making a fuss Wednesday when I see my ob.
