My daughter will be 20 months in a few days and we are still pretty much exclusively breastfeeding. I've tried and tried to get her to eat more solids and she was eating some but the past week she has been refusing everything and has been nursing so much more. I'm exhausted and really hoping it's just teething or a growth spurt. I was hoping to wean her by 2 so that we can try for another one but I feel like at this rate that will never happen.

I still nurse but she eats regular food. She’s a comforter nurser for sure. I’m calling it quits when she turns 2!

We are still breastfeeding, but my daughter also LOVES solid foods and eats a ton. I don’t know where she puts it. She’s such a tiny thing.

What does the pediatrician say? Fine to still be breastfeeding of course but to not be eating solid foods seems concerning.

My son still breastfeeds and he is 21 months. He eats food too but sometimes he doesn't eat like 3 meals he will breastfeed more. I am pregnant with my second and due June so idk what's going to happen.. people told me he would wean off because my milk will sour but he seems to like it more..

I always gave my kids a silly cup in place of nursing to wean. It usually takes 3 days to a week to get them to ween in this process!

We just weaned at 21 months. I did it slowly and she accepted it at the time. Now it’s two weeks later and she’s been asking every day! I just tell her I’m sorry mama milk is all gone ... sometimes she seems sad. It’s been hard but I was really ready to be done. She’s a good eater though.

We made it to 18m. I'm pregnant and completely touched out. Prior to weaning we were only night nursing anymore since I work long days.
