What do I use to put her to sleep?

Ive been told that babies grow out of a bassinet fast so what do y’all use to put your babies to sleep? I don’t want to use a cosleeper due to my husband using a million and one pillows and him being 6’4 it’s a bit crowded in the bed as it is.

My daughter slept in a pack n play in our room until we moved her to her crib in her room at 6 months.

We used a rock and play for the first 5ish weeks (yes, I know the many negative opinions on this) and then finally got her into a pack and play (with mattress) until we moved her to her room and own crib at almost 5 months

My daughter was in a Moses bed until she was 3 and a half months old (she is very tiny). Now at 5 and a half months she is in a pack and play in my room. She will be in my room until she’s a year old because I want her sleeping pretty well through the night every night before moving her into my 8 year old sisters room.

We used a Halo bassinet for the first 8 weeks, then moved our son into his crib in his own room because he was sleeping 8 hours through the night by then. When we moved him into his crib he immediately started sleeping even longer (9 or 10 hours). I’ve heard of people using bassinets for about 5 or 6 months, though, and I’ve also heard of people putting their babies directly in the crib starting on day 1.
