Zoloft while pregnant?

Have any of you been on zoloft while pregnant or have been? I feel like I should get off it asap because I don't trust my OB when it comes to meds about not harming my baby.

I’m on Zoloft, got pregnant on Zoloft, and my doctorS are not concerned about it. The benefits outweigh the risks. I have asked so many times if I need to get off of it and they have all said no.

I would go off any medications while pregnant to avoid any birth defects or miscarriage. Especially with antidepressants. They are very strong medications and Zoloft can be dangerous in some areas.

Yep! Was originally on 150mg when I got pregnant, weaned down to 50mg now. Talk to your doc tho. If you don't trust them, get a new one 💜

My psychiatrist and gynecologist told me to not even try to get pregnant while on it and to completely wean off first so I did. I trust my psychiatrist a lot as he's studied these medications for many many years and my gynecologist warned me of the birth defects it can cause and I didn't want to risk it at all.

Following. I don’t either I stop taking my medications and my doctor is pushing strong for Zoloft. These medications they want are always “safe” until it’s on a crazy commercial about how babies have been born with birth defects or died during labor.
