Clot or miscarriage??!

I use the patch and am on my off period where I usually expect to get my period. Though I had been having unprotected sex and my fiancé came in me while using the patch. This morning I felt the most excruciating cramps I’ve ever had, I thought I would pass out and a lot of blood, assuming this is my period of course. This came out all in my pad and I am not sure if it’s a clot or I had a miscarriage? Please give me your opinions. Thanks.
