Regret

Back when my husband & I got married I chose his younger sister to be one of my bridesmaids. I always thought it was important to include family in your bridal party. Fast forward to 6 years later now it’s her turn to get married. I didn’t expect to be in her bridal party, but I did expect to help out in some way with her big day. She hasn’t asked me for help with anything. Today I find out she’s asked our sister-in-law (her other brother’s wife) to be her coordinator for her wedding. I’ve been in way more weddings & actually coordinated a wedding. And here she’s asking someone who just got married to coordinate hers.

I wish I didn’t have her in my bridal party. She didn’t even help out with anything the day of. If anything she tried to steal the show on MY wedding day.

I know it sounds so selfish & childish. And maybe I need to lower my expectations. But if you were me wouldn’t you be a little hurt?
