How normal is it to use a condom during a blowjob?

I'm 20 and I haven't really been sexually active so far, but now I'm in a relationship I trust and I'd like to explore things? I come from the bible belt, so theres a lot of basic sex ed knowledge and norms that I'm still discovering as I get further out of school. I never really thought about using a condom for a blow job, but I guess it makes sense? Idk I'd just like some input about other women's thoughts on it or how yall make that decision so that I can be smart about it when the situation arises.
