He fetishized me

I recently went to an interview and this white guy was smiling at me. He approach me and said he remember me. He said he remembers me cuz I’m pretty. And he said he likes black girls( I’m black). Then took my number. We were texting one day. He asked me to go out to a movie with him and get food. I told my ex part of the story and he said something similar of not letting anybody fetishized you( I’m paraphrasing lol). Do you think that’s a fetish or no?
