RSV help.

Ok ladies I need some advice, I took my almost 10 month old son to the dr this morning because of a persistent cough and wheezing they told me that he has a small case of RSV / bronchitis. My question is what can I do to help him find some comfort? His cough wakes him from his sleep and makes it very difficult to get him to sleep he’s miserable 😩 and the dr said there is nothing I can do except let it run its course and use over the counter medication, but none has helped him unfortunately 😭
