I had my girls at 32 weeks. We are now 34+3 gestation in the NICU. Yesterday I watched my baby A (Hazel) struggle with the standard flow nipple and requested she stay on the slow flow as shes handling it wonderfully. I get told "yeah no problem you can graduate them up as you start breastfeeding or when they get home" I come in today and get told they are using the standard flow because she FALLS ASLEEP WITH THE SLOW FLOW 😡 she started to fall asleep with me yesterday using the slow flow and all I had to do was rub her head or adjust her a little bit. Not that she wasnt doing absolutely fine with dozing. They both still have bradycardias and i watched her struggle with the standard flow and she dropped her heart rate twice and then refused. But was fine 3 hours later when i gave her the bottle with a slow flow. How do i handle this? They are absolutely ignoring everything I say, and while I know these girls are my first preemie experience, it's not my first rodeo. I'm the oldest out of 11 kids. 5 of whom I raised because my mothers a lazy post who just had babies for money.

Here's my babies for fun
