Leave or stay?

Recently he came out with a secret he's been keeping for 2 and a half years. That he went to a strip club with his buddies ad they paid for his lap dance...... After we already married like 2 years he knew from the beginning I wasn't down for that type of behavior especially in a marriage...... Says he's sorry and all that. And he never went back. But I no longer trust him. If he could lie and keep a secret that long what else is there? He gave me two options move on and work through it or go our own  ways. I told him I chose the later. What do y'all think?

I personally wouldn't divorce my husband over a strip club. I'd be more concerned that he was so quick to offer that you guys split up.

Sounds sketchy. I would leave. He knew you wouldn’t like it and did it anyways, which is super disrespectful. And he’s basically telling you to get over it which is just insane to me

I'd personally work thru it. Good men are hard to find. He made a mistake and wants to set things right. Has he otherwise been a good husband? Is he a good provider and partner? Is he yohr closest friend? Do you really want to start all over becaise of a lap dance? Let's be honest. The dancer is a someone paid for a service. It's an acting gig. They didn't sleep together. Take a few days to mull it over.

if he kept that a secret for 2 1/2 years one can only wonder what else he has kept hidden for so long. 
that would break my trust instantly, hiding something for years. 
I would take a break from him. his ultimatum is BS and you shouldn’t stand for being pressured like that.

Have you ever actually asked anyone that's been what it's really like? I wanted to go and really thought it would be all glamour and beauty and fun. It's not. At all. My husband had a lap dance, it's over prices, it's awkward as hell, a bouncer is watching you, you have to sit on your hands, no touching and she usually isn't as attractive as  we imagine. I honestly imagined some j-lo Jessica alba type babe and it's very average girls with stupid make up and dark lights to make everyone look better. 
Yes the lie isn't great but honestly a lap dance isn't worth breaking up over.
