Masochist bf

I'm more of a caretaker, and I'm really afraid of hurting my S/O even though he's a masochist. I'm really uncomfortable with hitting or punching him even though he references that kind of blunt pain as his preferred pain. Do you guys have suggestions or references? Are there other good types of blunt pain?

(I'd be open to trying most other things except choking I guess, because you have to really know how to do that shit before you risk it and I don't haha.)
