Should I even care?

Long story short, my ex that was verbally, mentally, and physically abusive to me....got me pregnant. I'm now 23 weeks and he has not really been involved at all except to argue over names. He hasn't had a job the past 5 months so hasn't bought anything for baby for his house (his parents bought his half of stuff). He just got a job in another state and says he may not be present for our daughters birth. He hasn't bothered checking in to see how everything is going, especially since he got his new job and new girlfriend. Should I even care?
