Debt, higher education, and no income to show it!

3 friends recently graduated from physical therapy school. Over 100k in debt. One of them told us his starting salary was 65k. I don’t know about you, but i feel like this is soooo little, especially because he is 25, no house, and no investments. 7 years of school for some measly 65k! He had to pay about 1.3k a month just in student loans. That’s our house payment.

My husband went to school for 3 years, has 35k in his 401k, owes 17k in student loans, has a house, and makes 70k. This whole situation makes me question if I should go back to school. Ugh!!!
