My baby is 2 months old and he is formula fed when he was born I tried to breast feed but milk never came for past couple of weeks I’ve noticed he wants to latch on when I carry him (I know instinct) well curiosity got the best of me and just let him and to my surprise he latched on good and stayed there for about 15 min so the next day I didnt let him do it and at the end of the day pumped to see how much milk I had it wasn’t much he eats about 6oz every 3 hrs I could only pump out 3 oz would it be weird if I nurse him those 3 oz I always wanted to breastfeed him but everyone says it’s weird since he’s on formula and I’m not even getting enough milk to nurse him 😞 please tell me if I’m weird lol

So I gave it a go like everyone said and I felt like there was more milk there my breast were even looking bigger 😳 then came the pain the so horrible pain I went to a consultation with a lactation consultant aaand turns out I have hypoplasia or igt Meaning I don’t have enough milk duct to produce milk or let milk out my breast were just feeling bigger cause I was hurting my self and making them swollen 😞😞 so back to formula
