Hi mama! I know this can be super frustrating. I am right there with you! My LO goes 3-4 hrs, then three, then two, then one. Sigh. It does get better someday. Just know that every baby is so so so different. Go into it with an open mind and a lot of coffee. 🤣😜My first didnt sleep like a champ until about 18 months. Then it was 11-13 hrs straight. everyone kept telling me oh, as soon as he hits x milestone (solids, crawling, walking, etc) he will sleep like a champ. Never. Happened. Only in his own time I suppose. Just make sure you are eating and drinking well. Try to throw in some light exercise and definitely take a good multi vitamin. All this sleep deprivation is tough on a body. Hugs!

My daughter is almost 4 months old, and shes heen sleeping through the night for about a month. Roughly 9/10pm-6/7:30am. It was extremely hard to break her from the NICU schedule (they would wake her up every 3-4 hours for her to eat). So she was stuck on that schedule when she came home. All babies are different, try doing a bed time schedule.

You can try making the sleep after that 3-4 stretch the same by not feeding her once baby wakes up again (only soothe by tapping on back or pick up and shush to sleep) after a while they'll just fall back to sleep themselves because it's not like they hungry (because they stayed sleeping for 3-4 before that) but just habit. This is also help to teach falling asleep on their own.

Have you tried a dream feeding yet? It was a game changer for us

It should, just be careful not to overfeed since you don't burp after

I haven’t. Wasent sure if that was something that works for bottle fed babies

I’m with you on this ! My son is the same way no matter what I do. 3-4 hours max, then 2 then 1 as the night goes on. So frustrated and so tired. I go back to work in two weeks and his peak fussiness is 5-7am which is when I’d have to be getting ready and I have no idea how I’ll handle both at the same time. 😖

He might be getting hungry or is sleeping too much during the evening. Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding?

Have you tried giving him an extra oz or two in his bottle before bed? I've had some friends do that with success!

Yep. 😩 my 9.5 weeker does the same only we rarely get a full 4 hour stretch... usually 3 or 3.5 max and then 2 the rest of the night. I swear she wakes up sometimes from her gas pains though so I hate to be frustrated with her but I get so sad in the middle of the night when I’m up AGAIN with her and I’m so so tired and all I really want is to curl back up under the covers and sleep. Hoping this will get easier with time but so far it hasn’t changed much. And my family does not understand at all! They ask if she’s sleeping longer and I answer no- semi annoyed and they laugh! And they talk about how my step brothers kid is sleeping through the night and has been for a while (their kid is 9 days older than mine). Like great! That is not helpful to me! 😑😑😑

If you can, take naps when your baby does. That’s the only thing that helps me.
