Another possible missed miscarriage

Over last summer, I had a blighted ovum, in which there was nothing in the gestational sac. I tried to miscarry naturally but it wasn't happening so I took the medicine. Fast forward a couple of months later, I still retained product so I had to get a D&C.

Now, my husband and I are supposed to be 8 weeks along (LMP was December 7th and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on December 18). Ultrasound yesterday did not go well. This time, there is a yolk sac and fetal pole measuring about 6 weeks, but no embryo. They're doing blood levels to see what's happening with my HCG. Anyone have anything similar happen to them? I don't care if it was good or bad outcome, just looking for a similar experience.
