🚗 Which one should I get? 🚗

Question

My 2006 Honda civic hybrid has been good to me. But I'm looking to get a newer (used) truck/SUV. I'm working with a budget of $25K, want 4WD, more leg room (I'm 5'8") and something better for my kayaking, hiking lifestyle.
Excellent fuel mileage isn't a huge consideration, but maintenance cost and effort is! 
If you picked Tacoma, give me specifics on what year you like! I've heard different model years can vary inside dimensions. 
I haven't test driven any of these yet, but don't even know anyone who has one. Looking for thoughts!

I went from a Jeep Cherokee to an Outback and LOVED my Outback. Unfortunately my Outback was totalled. I wish we could have gotten another one but we have baby #3 on the way and I need a car that could hold 3 carseats.

I have a Toyota Tundra my husband picked that one because parts are easy to find and cheaper and it can reach high miles with out having issues of course if well maintained,, good luck keep doing research

Omg totally the outback. We bought an outback about 5 years ago and I haven’t lost the love for my car at all. The 4 wheel drive on Subaru’s is unmatchable. It would also be much cheaper overall for you.

Just recently bought the new Outback and love it. Depending on the mileage you’re okay with, you might have a hard time finding an outback for your price range. We originally were going to buy used but those things really hold their value.

Subaru’s and Toyota’s both have good resell values but as for roominess (for the options u listed above) a Subaru would be the best plus they are awd so u cant switch that off like 4wd options. Of all the options for Toyota I would pick the tundra cause it’s a bigger truck, a Tacoma is smaller. Honestly I would go with a jeep Cherokee cause they’re bad ass

We had a Tacoma but upgraded to the Tundra because we couldn’t do carseats with my 6’6” husband. I have a Highlander as my car and love it. Plenty of room, reliable Toyota that will last me forever, towing if I need it, he fits comfortably even with kids but it’s not too big for me to drive at 5’2”.

I have a 2018 RAV4 and my husband has a 2018 Tacoma. I love his Tacoma and drive it often. It is great on gas and easy to drive but I don’t like the lack of space in the back seats (we are having our third baby and there probably won’t be enough space) and the small view in the front. There are a lot of blind spots.
