My first prenatal appt is at 9 weeks. Will they do an ultrasound?

My ob office scheduled me for an ultrasound and an appointment at 8w. Most drs will do a first ultrasound right around 8-9w but I would ask if they didn’t mention one

Usually no unless they specifically tell you. You usually (where I live) have to drink a bunch of water before your first ultrasound so they would have mentioned that.

Had mines at 10 weeks most likely u will get an ultrasound not all tell u to drink water mines didn’t and good luck and congrads 🎊🎊

My ob has an ultrasound in the room so he did one as soon as I came in at 8 weeks but also to confirm heartbeat. My last was a blighted ovium with no heartbeat. But I think it varies from doctor and doctor and your history as well. By the way congratulations

No idea- every medical practice is different. At my first one, they just did a urine and blood panel and listened to the baby’s heartbeat on a Doppler
